PGV awards scholarships to 6 seniors
Puna Geothermal Venture and Tropical Ponds Hawai‘i LLC presented scholarships to six seniors from Pahoa High School to attend University of Hawai‘i at Hilo and Hawai‘i Community College.
This is the 10th year PGV has honored deserving Pahoa students.
Accepting the scholarships from Michael Kaleikini (top right) at the school’s awards ceremony May 21 are: (top left) Tiana-Marie Kahealani Araujo-Thornton and Lei Kyna Ganiron; (bottom left) Fuafetoimailelagi-FiaSalemeanai Valinda-Sue Wilson, Krissel Anne Alcon Lagua, Denarose Fukushima and Rex Fiesta.
PGV is also a sponsor of “Salute to The Graduates Program” this month by Pacific Radio Group.
